Rio Ferdinand is confident the hurt of losing a 34-year unbeaten home record against Manchester City last year will ensure United do not slip up again in tomorrow’s derby clash.

City gatecrashed what should have been a commemoration of the Busby Babes, when they won at Old Trafford last season, making their own personal mark on the 50th anniversary of the Munich air crash.
