Raul rebuffs City approach

Real Madrid captain Raul has confirmed interest from Manchester City in his services but insists he wants to finish his career at the Bernabeu.

Spanish media yesterday claimed City were hoping to tempt the 31-year-old forward to England in a massive deal, and although Blues boss Mark Hughes subsequently played down the reports, Raul revealed in today’s Marca that there had been contact.
