Dundalk v Galway United

Galway United boss Ian Foster is hoping that his side can make it three wins in eight days when they travel to play Dundalk at Oriel Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

Foster will have to plan without injured midfielder Sean Kelly, while Alan Murphy, Paul Sinnott and Niall Walsh are also out through injury

Shane Fitzgerald will undergo a late fitness test on Friday and may start.

Dundalk are without Harpal Singh and Chris Turner who are both suspended, while Dave Rogers is ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Liam Burns, Thomas Heary and Simon Kelly all face late fitness tests, and Michael Daly is also carrying a knock and may not start.

Michael Collins remains out and cannot play as his registration is still under investigation.

Boss Sean Connor has drafted Mark Griffin, John Smith and Nathan Murphy in from the youths squad.

Connor said: “Our next six games are very important as they are against the teams that are in a separate league with us.

“The top three are the top three and we’ve played all of them over the last three weeks. We need to start picking up points against the teams around us and I’d be looking at a target of 14 points for these games.”
