Ferguson to miss out

Barry Ferguson is back in training for Rangers although tomorrow’s Old Firm derby is likely to come too soon for the deposed skipper.

Ferguson feared his season was over after suffering a calf tear in a reserves match last month but could now play a part in the title run-in.

Sasa Papac and Kirk Broadfoot will also miss the visit of Celtic in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

But Madjid Bougherra returns from suspension to bolster the defence for the crucial derby clash.
