Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce is confident key players Chris Samba and Benni McCarthy will be fit for next weekend’s visit of Portsmouth.
The pair were both forced off in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Manchester City but Allardyce does not believe either will be out for long.
