Hiddink: I couldn't rest Lampard
Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink admitted he could not contemplate resting Frank Lampard for the clash against West Ham, and the England midfielder rewarded him by inspiring victory at Upton Park.
Lampard was abused by the fans he left in 2001 and missiles were aimed at him after Salomon Kalou’s winner, but he had the last laugh as Chelsea warmed up for Tuesday’s clash against Barcelona with a win over Gianfranco Zola’s men.
