Walcott on bench

In-form Arsenal winger Theo Walcott was dropped to the bench as manager Arsene Wenger made five changes to face Liverpool at Anfield.

Of those who started Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea Walcott - who had scored in his last three games – was joined on the bench by Abou Diaby and Emmanuel Eboue, with Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor out injured.
