Moyes to decide on Saha fitness for semi-final

Everton manager David Moyes must decide whether to risk striker Louis Saha from the start against his former club Manchester United in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final.

Saha has been nursed through a week of training after a stomach virus, and if he is named in the XI at Wembley it will be only his second start in 23 matches since November.

Moyes’ alternative, with Brazilian loan striker Jo cup-tied, will be to push midfielders Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini forward, which could create a place for teenager Jack Rodwell.

Defender Joseph Yobo and striker James Vaughan have recovered from injuries to be in the squad.

Provisional squad: Howard, Hibbert, Lescott, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Pienaar, Neville, Rodwell, Fellaini, Cahill, Yobo, Saha, Vaughan, Nash, Gosling, Jacobsen, Van der Meyde, Castillo, Baxter.
