Second-half goals from Glen Crowe, Graham Carey and Jason Byrne eased champions Bohemians back top of the Premier Division table after this facile win over a disjointed St Patrick’s Athletic tonight.

The kick off was delayed five minutes after St Patrick’s substitute Glen Fitzpatrick collapsed during the warm-up and was taken to hospital, reportedly in a stable condition.

Crowe broke the deadlock three minutes after the break; arriving at the near post to score with a glancing header from Glen Cronin’s diagonal delivery.

The game was up for St Pat’s on the hour when they had defender Dave Partridge sent off following an off the ball incident, apparently seen only by a linesman.

Man-of-the-match Graham Carey added the second goal on 79 minutes when skipping by Stuart Byrne to drill a powerful left-foot shot past Gary Rogers.

In-form Byrne got his fifth goal of the season to seal the points on 77 minutes, rifling home on the turn from Cronin’s pass.
