Torino to take Dzemaili
Torino president Urbano Cairo confirmed today that the club will take up their option to buy Bolton midfielder Blerim Dzemaili at the end of his current loan deal.
Switzerland international Dzemaili joined the Serie A outfit in September on a season-long loan from Bolton after injury problems reduced his Wanderers career to a single cameo in the FA Cup after joining from FC Zurich.
He has enjoyed a better time at Torino and they are now keen to make the deal permanent.
âI have already prepared the letter in which I will announce to Bolton my wish to buy Dzemailiâs sporting rights,â said Cairo to Turin-based sports newspaper Tuttosport.
âI have until the end of the month to exercise the right to buy the player.
âI will definitely acquire Dzemaili and I would like to do it as soon as possible.
âThe letter has been written and my wish is to send it on Sunday, on the same day as Dzemaili turns 23.â
Dzemaili has impressed at Torino, making 22 league starts for the Granata side so far this season.
