North's Craigan ruled out

Motherwell defender Stephen Craigan has been ruled out of Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Slovenia tonight, the Irish Football Association have confirmed.

Craigan has failed to recover from a calf injury sustained in the 3-2 victory against Poland on Saturday.

Jonny Evans is now likely to revert to the centre of defence alongside Aaron Hughes with George McCartney returning after suspension at left-back.

Northern Ireland are aiming to cement their place at the top of Group Three at Windsor Park.
