Bohs looking to maintain unbeaten start

Bohemians will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season as they travel to United Park to take on Drogheda United, kick-off 7.45pm.

Left-back Mark Rossiter is suspended for Bohs, having been awarded four yellow cards.

However, captain Owen Heary returns after missing last week’s game through suspension.

Killian Brennan remains out with a rib injury, while Neale Fenn is also out with a calf injury.

Bohs boss Pat Fenlon said: “It is a game that I have to make sure the players are working and clued in so we can carry out the game plan that we want.

“I know Alan Mathews well and I am sure they will be organised and difficult to beat.”

For Drogheda, Conor Kenna is suspended following his dismissal against Dundalk, while John Paul Kelly is carrying a knock but should be fit to face his old club.

United boss Alan Mathews said: “It’s our toughest test so far but I wouldn’t think of it as an upset if we drew, or got the full three points against them.

“We’re going to have to be both mentally and physically strong if we’re to match Bohemians on the pitch.”
