Lennon signs new Spurs deal

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon has signed a new contract which ties him to the White Hart Lane club until 2014.

The England Under-21 star had been heavily linked with Liverpool yet again in this morning’s newspapers and was rumoured to have interested Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

But the Yorkshireman, who signed from Leeds in 2005, has committed himself to Harry Redknapp’s side for the next five years.
