Ferdinand set for City clash

Anton Ferdinand expects to be fit for Sunderland’s trip to face Manchester City on Sunday after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury.

The former West Ham man had been playing well when he suffered the problem in training prior to the Tottenham game 10 days ago, but has now returned to training and could feature at Eastlands.
