Vidic to miss two games

The Football Association have confirmed Nemanja Vidic will sit out Manchester United’s next two Barclays Premier League matches after his dismissal in Saturday’s defeat to Liverpool.

The Serbia centre-back was sent off in the 4-1 humbling by their title rivals at Old Trafford for denying Liverpool captain Stephen Gerrard a goalscoring opportunity.
