Giovanni Trapattoni is set to name his squad today for the Republic of Ireland's forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The Boys in Green take on Bulgaria later this month and travel to meet Italy in Bari on April 1.

Stephen Ireland's international exile looks set to continue after the player said he was "happy" with his current situation in a newspaper interview over the weekend.
