Richardson out for Sunderland

Sunderland will be without suspended midfielder Kieran Richardson for tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League clash with Wigan.

The 24-year-old begins a two-match ban after being booked for the 10th time this season during the 1-1 draw with Tottenham last weekend.

Defender Anton Ferdinand (hamstring/back) and midfielder Teemu Tainio (knee) are doubts, while Nyron Nosworthy is working his way back to full fitness after tearing a hamstring in January.
