Festive ban for Belfast rivals

Belfast rivals Linfield and Glentoran have been banned by the Irish Football Association from playing each over the festive period for the next two years.

The governing body’s disciplinary committee took strong action against the JJB Sports Premiership sides after trouble flared at Windsor Park on Boxing Day.
