Boss David Moyes is hoping Belgium star Marouane Fellaini will have recovered from the back injury that forced him off in the extra-time win over Liverpool in the last round.

The Toffees are also optimistic that Louis Saha, out since November with a hamstring problem, will be able to return on the bench. Steven Pienaar, out for a fortnight with a similar injury, is serving a ban following five bookings.

Tim Cahill and Tim Howard arrived back at the club today after midweek internationals in Japan and the United States, respectively. Cahill helped Australia to a 0-0 draw against the Japanese, while keeper Howard played in the 2-0 win over Mexico for the Americans.

Provisional squad: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Lescott, Yobo, Baines, Gosling, Arteta, Van der Meyde, Neville, Osman, Cahill, Rodwell, Fellaini, Saha, Nash, Castillo, Baxter, Jacobsen.
