As expected, Blackburn's Keith Andrews will partner Glenn Whelan in central midfield.

Paul McShane's been suffering with a hamstring problem, but will be given the chance to prove his fitness at training this afternoon.

The manager is considering Stephen Kelly and Kevin Foley as possible replacements.

Shay Given starts in goal, with Richard Dunne, John O'Shea and Kevin Kilbane in defence.

In midfield, Aiden McGeady is set to start on the right, with Damien Duff on the left.
