Sunderland have signed West Ham defender Calum Davenport on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old passed a medical on Wearside today before becoming manager Ricky Sbragia’s second short-term signing in 24 hours following Tal Ben Haim’s move from Manchester City last night.
