Robinho was aiming to put his off-field worries behind him by helping Manchester City defeat Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League tonight.

The 25-year-old was released on police bail by West Yorkshire Police last night after facing questions about an alleged sexual assault at a nightclub in Leeds city centre just over two weeks ago.
