New signings Hayden Mullins and Pele are in contention to make their Portsmouth debuts in tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

Mullins signed on a permanent deal from West Ham while fellow midfielder Pele is on loan from Porto until the end of the season.

Either player could come in for Sean Davis, who missed training today with a stomach virus, as manager Tony Adams is already without long-term absentees Papa Bouba Diop and Richard Hughes.

Younes Kaboul has declared himself fit after a five-week absence with a back injury but is unlikely to be risked.

Portsmouth (from): James, Johnson, Campbell, Distin, Belhadj, Mvuemba, Wilson, Kranjcar, Kanu, Nugent, Crouch, Begovic, Kaboul, Pamarot, Primus, Cranie, Hreidarsson, A Traore, Little, Utaka, Mullins, Pele.
