Russell appointed UCD manager

Martin Russell has today been appointed as senior team manager at UCD FC.

Russell, who has been with the club since 2005 initially as first team coach and latterly as assistant to Pete Mahon, said: "I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to continue working with the club and hope to build on the tremendous work carried out by my predecessor Pete Mahon."

"My initial focus is to continue to strengthen the club's scholarship programme and develop a team that will be able to challenge for honours."
