The FA have charged Middlesbrough with failing to control their players during the 3-0 defeat at West Brom on Saturday.

The charge relates to the conduct of the Boro players towards referee Mark Halsey following his decision to dismiss Didier Digard for a 62nd-minute lunge on Borja Valero.

A handful of Middlesbrough players surrounded Halsey, who proceeded to drop one of his cards.

Middlesbrough have until February 4 to respond to the charge.
