Devine leaves Cork City to return to Waterford

Goalkeeper Mick Devine is returning to Waterford United after eight seasons at Cork City.

Goalkeeper Mick Devine is returning to Waterford United after eight seasons at Cork City.

The 35-year-old has decided to make the move after describing the Leeside club's latest contract offer as "a joke".

The arrival of former Drogheda keeper Dan Connor at Turners Cross is also a likely factor in Devine's decision to leave.
