West Brom have further boosted their attacking options by making Marc-Antoine Fortune their second January signing.

The French-Guyana forward has joined the Baggies on loan for the rest of the season from French top-flight outfit Nancy.

The 27-year-old hitman cannot be recalled by his parent club during the duration of his loan – and Albion also have an exclusive option to buy Fortune during the summer.

Fortune’s availability for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League clash with Middlesbrough is now subject to the club receiving international clearance in time.

Fortune’s arrival follows on from the loan signing of Arsenal starlet Jay Simpson, who notched his first goal in Baggies colours in Tuesday’s FA Cup win at Peterborough.

Fortune joined Nancy in 2007 and his six goals last term helped them finish fourth and qualify for the UEFA Cup.

He began his career with a four-year stint at French side Angouleme and has also enjoyed spells with Lille, Rouen (loan), Brest and Utrecht.
