Birmingham go after Boyd

Rangers tonight confirmed that Birmingham have made an approach for prolific striker Kris Boyd.

Some reports claim Blues boss Alex McLeish, who signed Boyd for Rangers, has already succeeded in a bid for the forward.

A short statement from the Ibrox club this evening read: “Following media speculation, Rangers Football Club can confirm that we have received an enquiry from Birmingham for Kris Boyd.”
