Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp partnered Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko in attack for the FA Cup third-round clash against Wigan at White Hart Lane.

From the side which lost to West Brom last weekend, Pavlyuchenko came in for Jermaine Jenas, who had a calf strain. Benoit Assou-Ekotto was suspended so Gareth Bale started at left-back, while Jamie O’Hara came in for Aaron Lennon.

Hossam Ghaly, Adel Taarabt and Kevin-Prince Boateng, who were not given squad numbers under former boss Juande Ramos, were on the bench.

Wigan boss Steve Bruce had Lee Cattermole suspended and Emile Heskey, Chris Kirkland and Amr Zaki injured. Goalkeeper Richard Kingson made his debut and Henri Camara led the attack for the visitors.
