Bosnian international Semir Stilic has urged Lech Poznan to sanction a move to Celtic in this month’s transfer window.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been linked with a £2.5m move to the Scottish champions.

Reports suggest he is also attracting interest from Spanish outfit Espanyol but the highly-rated youngster remains keen on a switch to Celtic.

He told the Scottish Daily Mail: “I want to leave Lech Poznan. It is an honour for me that a great club like Celtic are interested.

“I know Lech appreciate me and want me to stay. But, if Lech agree, I would like to move club now.

“I don’t want to wait because I don’t even know if Celtic would still want me in six months’ time.”
