The Republic of Ireland's upcoming World Cup qualifier against Italy appears set to take place in the Adriatic city of Bari.

The Republic of Ireland's upcoming World Cup qualifier against Italy appears set to take place in the Adriatic city of Bari.

The Italian Football Federation is expected to name the city's 58,000-seater stadium as the venue for the glamour fixture.

The game takes place on April 1st.
