Middlesbrough midfielder Didier Digard is a major doubt for tomorrow’s Premier League trip to Fulham.

The Frenchman suffered a groin injury in last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal and is unlikely to make the trip to Craven Cottage, while Just Hoyte is out until the new year after under surgery on a knee cartilage.

However, defender David Wheater returns from suspension – and Andrew Taylor (knee) and Mido (hamstring) are available once again.

Gary O’Neil (hamstring) remains on the sidelines but could return next weekend.

Provisional squad: Turnbull, Jones, McMahon, Taylor, Grounds, Pogatetz, Huth, Wheater, Bates, Hines, Williams, Aliadiere, Arca, Walker, Downing, Johnson, Tuncay, Alves, Mido, Emnes.
