Gallas left out of Arsenal squad

William Gallas is not in the squad for Arsenal’s Barclays Premier League match at Manchester City this afternoon, with goalkeeper Manuel Almunia named captain.

Gallas did not travel with the rest of the squad after making critical comments about the team in midweek.
