Coventry 'keeper to link up with Ireland squad

Coventry goalkeeper Kieren Westwood is set to join up with the Republic of Ireland squad for training this morning ahead of tomorrow night's friendly clash with Poland.

Westwood received a late call-up to replace the injured Dean Kiely, who is the latest in a string of players to withdraw from the squad.

Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady is predicting a tough game against the Poles, who qualified for the Euro 2008 Championships.
