Goals from Mauro Almeida and skipper Conor O'Grady booked Sligo's place in next season's new-fangled UEFA Europe League as they took full advantage of Cork City's defeat at Bohemians.

Portuguese defender Almeida met O'Grady's 14th minute cross to head past Alan Gough for the opening goal.

O'Grady then latched onto a deflected free-kick to rifle home the second just before the half hour.
