Reid and O’Brien frozen out of Ireland squad

Giovanni Trapattoni has omitted Andy Reid and Joey O'Brien from his 23-man squad for next week's clash with Poland at Croke Park.

Giovanni Trapattoni has omitted Andy Reid and Joey O'Brien from his 23-man squad for next week's clash with Poland at Croke Park.

The squad will arrive in Dublin for training on Sunday before lining out against the Poles the following Wednesday.

Reid has fallen out of favour under Trapattoni, while O'Brien has also expressed dissatisfaction with his lack of action under the new manager.
