Savage Beirut move denied

Former Lebanese champions Al Ansar have denied reports suggesting midfielder Robbie Savage is about to join the Beirut-based club.

The Derby player was linked with a move after details emerged of a trip to the Middle East country, but Al Ansar team manager Bilal Farraj stressed Savage has been invited only to assess the standard of Lebanese football.
