Redknapp hopeful of King return

Harry Redknapp hopes club captain Ledley King will return to bolster Tottenham’s defence against Liverpool at White Hart Lane tomorrow.

King missed the 4-4 draw against Arsenal to rest his long-term knee injury but Redknapp said: “Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate have been outstanding together. Hopefully Ledley will be fit tomorrow and that will be a bonus for us.”
