Gallas injury scuppers Wenger plan

Arsene Wenger’s problems at centre-back have been complicated by a hamstring injury to Arsenal skipper William Gallas ahead of tomorrow’s clash at Stoke.

Gallas picked up the problem during Wednesday’s memorable draw with rivals Tottenham, when he was paired with Mikael Silvestre after Wenger admitted problems with playing his captain alongside Kolo Toure.
