Ireland's U-21s cruise to win over Lithuania

The Republic of Ireland youngsters finished strongly in their match against Lithuania this afternoon to claim a comfortable win.
Three goals in the last 15 minutes eventually gave Don Givens’ side a convincing victory.
Accrington’s Jimmy Ryan broke the deadlock in the friendly international, before Ipswich’s Owen Garvan doubled the advantage.
An own goal wrapped up the success.
Garvan saw a 55th-minute penalty, awarded after Viktor Pasin handled Eddie Nolan’s header across goal, saved by goalkeeper Vytautas Cerniauskas.
