SFA secure cup sponsor deal
The Scottish Football Association will announce a new sponsorship deal for the Scottish Cup tomorrow.
Former Celtic director Willie Haughey, who owns a Glasgow-based refrigeration company, has been in talks with the governing body over backing the competition.
Haughey will be present at the announcement of the agreement at Hampden tomorrow afternoon.
The SFA had been looking for a sponsor since May last year, when brewer Tennent’s ended their long-running association with the Scottish Cup in order to provide funding for the national team.
