No Joe for Blues

Joe Cole has not travelled with Chelsea to Romania for tomorrow’s Champions League clash with CFR Cluj after failing to recover from a thigh injury.

Cole missed the 2-0 win at Stoke over the weekend and joins Deco (thigh) and defender Ricardo Carvalho (knee) on the sidelines. The Portuguese dup are expected to be out for up to three weeks.

Ivory Coast striker Saloman Kalou is set to be involved after recovering from an ankle knock suffered against Stoke while Didier Drogba is in line to continue his comeback from a knee injury.
