Drogheda are still without injured keeper Dan Connor, who has missed the majority of the season, so Jamie Ewings is expected to continue in goals with Ireland U-21 Paul Skinner on the bench.

Shaun Maher and Graham Gartland have formed a strong partnership in the centre of defence, although John Tambouras, who scored his first goal for the club last week, will be looking to push his way into contention.

With Declan O'Brien and Guy Bates both injured and Ibrahima Iyane-Thiam suspended, Eamon Zayed looks likely to lead the line again.

Galway have no new injury concerns ahead of the trip to Drogheda and boss Jeff Kenna is likely to name the same starting 11 that drew with Shamrock Rovers last weekend.
