Johnson returns for City

Michael Johnson is back in the Manchester City squad following a groin injury and will play a part in the Carling Cup second-round tie at Brighton.

However, midfielder Martin Petrov remains sidelined with a similar problem and although Nedum Onuoha has resumed training after a knee injury, tomorrow’s game on the south coast will come too soon for him.
