Dilemma for Bruce

Wigan manager Steve Bruce has a selection dilemma in midfield for Sunday’s Barclays Premier League trip to face Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Michael Brown, Olivier Kapo, Jason Koumas and Paul Scharner are vying to come in for Lee Cattermole, who is serving a one-match ban after being sent off in last week’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland.

Ryan Taylor (shin) has almost returned to full fitness but will not be considered against Spurs, while Erik Edman is nearing a return from a long-term knee injury.
