Keane looking for improvement

Robbie Keane will embark upon a new World Cup qualifying campaign next month admitting the Republic of Ireland have simply not been good enough in recent years.

They have missed out on the finals of the last three major tournaments after establishing themselves as something of a fixture under Jack Charlton and Mick McCarthy.
