Davies keen to extend Bolton deal

Kevin Davies hopes to have agreed a new contract with Bolton by the start of the new Barclays Premier League season this weekend.

The striker was the subject of a bid from top-flight newcomers Hull earlier this month that was rejected by Wanderers.
