Jay O'Shea ran the show at Finn Park as Galway deservedly beat free-falling Harps.

Galway might have run up a 2-0 lead early on but for a super save by James Gallagher from new Galway signing Jesper Jorgensen, while O'Shea hit a post with a long-range chip.

Galway deservedly took the lead on 38 minutes when O'Shea's drilled cross in from the right was shot home by midfielder John Russell.

Winger O'Shea then sealed the points to move Galway above Harps on goal difference with a stunning second goal a minute from time.
