Keane poised to sign Marlbranque

Steed Malbranque has moved a step closer to becoming Roy Keane’s third signing from Tottenham, with the French midfielder undergoing a medical at Sunderland.

Keane has already brought full-back Pascal Chimbonda and midfielder Teemu Tainio from White Hart Lane to the Stadium of Light and has now persuaded Malbranque to be part of his plans.
