Shamrock Rovers will be looking to build on their impressive performance at Richmond Park during the week as they take on Sligo Rovers at Tolka Park tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

A long-term injury keeps John Martin (hip) sidelined for the Hoops, while Chris Mulhall and Robbie Creevy continue their rehabilitation. Eric McGill and Sean O’Connor both return from suspension.

Hoops boss Pat Scully said: "Darragh Maguire suffered a slight knock but he’s been training and will be OK – otherwise we’ve a clean bill of health after the St Pat's' game."

Matthew Judge is ruled out for Sligo after undergoing an eye and cheek bone operation and striker Steve Feeney is also out injured, while full back Seamus Coleman must complete a fitness test ahead of the game.

Sligo boss Paul Cook said: "This is going to be a tough test. Shamrock Rovers are a very physical, strong team. My worry, with the exception of perhaps people like Mauro Almeida and Gavin Peers, is that we are not physically strong.

"The big danger on Friday night and in games like it is that if we give away a lot of set pieces we could get punished."
